Women's nightwear should be a must-have for every woman. Most of the time, women's nightwear isn't given much attention, because at the end of a tiring day, who has time to look good and do a little dressing up? While this may not be always the case, wearing proper intimate wear can be good for your well-being. Looking at yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning and realising you look great in that camisole or that nightgown can really boost your self-confidence and self-esteem.

When choosing intimate wear, consider the style, fit, and material. Lots of shops offer different kinds of lingerie, and choose a style that flatters your body and is comfortable. Fit is also essential. You wouldn't want to lose precious minutes of sleep by adjusting those straps or scratching at garter bands because what you're wearing is too tight. Finally, choose a material that only provides comfort-- your best bet would be cotton, silk, and satin

Purchasing nightwear can be challenging especially for those who are financially-strapped. Shopping experts have come up with tips on how to save up and at the same time, still get quality nightwear items at lesser cost! First, purchase these nightwear items seasonally because acquiring them during out of season means that the prices are slashed off. One plausible example is that winter pajamas can be bought at reasonable rates on February.

Second, go for other brands that offer lesser prices. Buying off fancy nightwear from popular brands means that the rates are higher. Chances are, other lesser-known products can still provide the much needed warmth.

Third, buy satin nightwear that is a size larger. This way, there will be a longer time to use the nightwear purchased rather than always upgrading due to increase in body size.

At the end of the day, it always pays to not spend a large amount of money on nightwear.

A fun and unique fundraiser recently successfully pooled £700 for charity. The pyjama cum fundraiser was organized by several women in a small community. The money, which reached up to £700, will be given to various community groups. The fundraiser adopted the pyjama walk style of fundraising. One of the organizers behind the event, Kerrianne Shepherd, said that they organised the event in order to raise funds for Bootle and District Sports and Wellbank Pre-school Playgroup. They decided to hold a pyjama walk to raise the needed funds. A total of 14 women set out on the 14 mile walk from Wellbank Pavilion along the coast to the Brown Cow in Waberthwaite. The participants were all in their pyjamas. The event cum fundraiser was deemed a success. Shepherd said that “the idea came from Hollyoaks, when they had a fundraiser for Cancer Research in their pants. We thought it would be fun to do a walk in pyjamas – and warmer too.” “We still have outstanding sponsor money but I’m expecting between £700 and £800. It was hard work but fun, next year we might hold it in summer. I’d like to say a big thank you to the people who took part, businesses who donated raffle prizes and the Brown Cow,” she added. Shepherd and her fellow organizers were very happy with the turnout. The pyjama walk raised the much needed funds for both the Bootle and District Sports and Wellbank Pre-school Playgroup.

Kimono, the popular Japanese robe, has become synonymous to fashion and culture in the Asian country. However, this robe has begun to influence other nations as well and even people from these countries would purchase these even though the prices may be a little steep.

At the Birmingham Museum of Art in Alabama, these robes will take centerstage once more as the establishment will be showcasing “Fashioning Kimono: Art Deco and Modernism in Japan.”
The exhibit will showcase the importance of kimonos and will feature the range of these robes and how these have progressed through the years. Photographs and actual kimonos will be featured in the exhibit.

About 100 kimonos worn by both men and women will be featured in the exhibit. Some of these creations were hand-woven which would cost a lot these days.

Dream experts are now taking the spotlight these days following the surprising hit of Christopher Nolan’s “Inception.” The film has left millions of viewers wondering about the possibilities of dreams.

Experts believe that there is a long-time interest on dreams and that this is a well-research topic. However, they said that dreams are being interpreted at the case to case basis because the dreams have different significance to the dreamer. Thus, this only means that the generalization could not be made. One thing’s clear, the unconscious mind can in some way tells the conscious one about some pressing matters.

The dream repeats in some way because the issue is unresolved and once this has been resolved, then the dreams on another subject appear.

With the global interest on “Inception” now increasing, interest on dreams is not about to wane anytime soon.

Despite the rainy weather in Noosa last Tuesday, participants still braved the cold conditions as they participated in the annual run event organized by The Pyjama Foundation.

Spearheaded together with the council libraries, The Pyjama Foundation has been conducting this annual event for years with participants required to wear pyjamas to send out a message to the world, that is – give new pairs of these pyjamas to those boys and girls who are in need.

The organization is appealing for the public support in providing winter and summer-styled pyjamas in different sizes.

The aim of the campaign this year is to gather a record number of sleepwear for the identified 31,000 children who are currently under foster care in Australia.

About 800 sets have been collected across the Coast so far and the event is far from over.
Three groups have pooled a total of $1,400 worth of new pyjamas for the foundation.
